Beginning with our carrier oil blend, we have chosen Refined Hemp Seed oil for it’s perfect balance of essential fatty acids. Essential Fatty Acids like Omega 3s and 6s are the building blocks of healthy cell membranes. These polyunsaturated fats also help produce the skins natural oil barrier, critical in keeping skin hydrated, plumper and younger looking. It also encourages cell regeneration and skin growth.
Apricot Kernel Oil when topically applied, has emollient properties that can help to exfoliate and moisturize the skin, helping it retain moisture, eliminating patches of dry skin, and relieving inflammatory conditions, such as rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema. Apricot Kernel oil rejuvenates the skin and is ideal for mature skin.
Jojoba oil is deeply hydrating, long-lasting moisturizer that is nourishing to the skin. High in vitamins E and B, rich in in antioxidants and minerals such as chromium, copper and zinc, Jojoba oil reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is recommended for people with sensitive skin and nut allergies.
MCT Coconut oil perfectly rounds out the carrier oil formula with its smoothing, soothing, non-comedogenic, and antimicrobial effects. MCT Coconut oil contains healthy fatty acids and is naturally rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Poultices made with Fir Needles were used in folklore medicine for relieving arthritis, rheumatism and muscular pain, as such, Fir is extremely soothing to joints and muscles and acts as an effective aid in lessening pain and inflammation.
